Babylounge

During the Insomnia Festival of 2011 in Tromsø, Aggie Peterson (aka Femme Digitale) will make an Army of Mothers babylounge. This is an art-exhibition for the youngest art-audience to explore together with their parents, or other loved ones. Babies and toddlers between 0 and 18 months can enter the babylounge and use their hearing, sight, motion and movements.

The babylounge is filled with objects that aim to stimulate and engage the babies, and hopefully also the adults will be inspired on how to better pay attention to their babies and take part in and encourage their development. The babylounge will also be filled with sounds of mothers from around the world, sharing their voices filled with love and care.
